John Bishop To Host New Stand-Up Comedy TV Series

One of Britain’s best-known comedians is getting a brand-new television show, with Sky announcing plans for a stand-up series that will bring some of the country’s biggest comedy names together.

And there’ll also be a chance for us to discover some new faces from the comedy circuit.

John Bishop will host John Bishop’s Comedy Night at The Coliseum, a new three-part entertainment series coming to Sky and streaming service NOW in early 2027. The show will be recorded in front of a live audience at London’s famous Coliseum theatre in December 2026.

Each episode will feature a hand-picked selection of comedians, bringing together established stars and rising performers. The idea is to showcase the range of talent currently performing across the British comedy scene, with Bishop introducing audiences to some of the acts making a name for themselves.

Speaking about the announcement, Bishop said there’s so much brilliant talent on the comedy circuit right now, and he wants the series to celebrate it. He added that he can’t wait to fill the London Coliseum with some of the best comedy the country has to offer.

Although the full line-up of comedians has yet to be announced, Sky says the show will feature both familiar favourites and performers who are beginning to break through.

John Bishop’s Comedy Night at The Coliseum will arrive on Sky and NOW in early 2027, with an exact premiere date still to be confirmed.
